Hello, my name is Antony Kern. As a conservative serving in the Arizona House of Representatives I strongly believe in our Constitution and the principles and ideas which make us great. Ideas such as limited government, states rights, private property, the right to keep and bear arms, tax reform, fiscal responsibility and the pursuit of life and liberty.

I have worked hard to defend and advance these principles in the Arizona Legislature and will continue to do so in the future. I ask for your vote and support in the 2020 election.

I am humbled and honored to represent you and look forward to working together to ensure our best days are ahead. I am currently serving as Chairman of the House Rules Committee and the Joint Legislative Audit Committee. I serve as Vice-Chairman on the House Public Safety Committee and am a member of the House Commerce and Appropriations Committees.

Representing District 17, Jeff Weninger serves Gilbert, Sun Lakes and Chandler, where he lives with his wife, Janet, and their three children.

Judy Schwiebert has spent her life in LD 20 as the mom of two successful now-adult sons, a teacher for 27 years in our local public high schools, and a community leader. Now, she’s running to represent our community in the AZ State House.

As a proven, strong leader, she knows and shares the priorities of our district. This is her home. As a teacher, co-founder of Theater Works, board member of a large church, and community center director, she learned powerful lessons about how listening and working together give everyone a chance to succeed.

Most recently, Judy co-founded a non-partisan group where people concerned about healthcare, education, and other issues worked together to successfully turn their concerns into positive, powerful action, with demonstrated impact.

Judy puts people over politics and will work for all of us to restore school funding, ensure quality affordable healthcare, and foster good-paying jobs that allow everyone their chance at the American Dream. She’ll prioritize smart investments in our community’s future because she knows that we all do better when every student gets a quality education and every family and business gets their chance to thrive.

Bio

As your legislator, I successfully spearheaded one of Governor Ducey’s legislative priorities—dedicating a day to civics education; collaborated with the Attorney General on consumer protection laws; helped obtain grants for nonprofits who assist victims of human trafficking; supported the final two installments of the 20 by 2020 promise to fund teacher salaries; helped pass a responsible budget reflecting our new fiscal realities; and worked across the aisle on criminal justice reforms.

I will continue to fight to keep small businesses alive. Many Arizonans have lost their jobs, homes and economic livelihoods. I am committed to helping Arizona’s economy regain its footing by putting people back to work so we can thrive again.

I’m honored to serve you. When I campaigned as a conservative I meant it. I’ve received the Guardian of Small Business; Friend of the Family; Hero of the Taxpayer and Champion of the Taxpayer awards, and an “A” rating from the American Conservative Union.

My priorities remain: protecting life, protecting taxpayers, job creation, improving education through increased classroom funding and increasing teacher pay, and keeping our children safe from online predators.

This past legislative session, we’ve navigated our way through the health crisis by supporting small businesses, helped residents stay in their homes or apartments, and continued to fund schools and teachers during the shutdown, meanwhile protecting health and safety.

I’ve supported efforts to secure our border (that means building a wall!), to stop ObamaCare, and to give parents a greater say in the education of their children. I’m proud of endorsements I’ve received from former US Senator Jon Kyl, and groups like Arizona Right to Life, the NRA, the Fraternal Order of Police, and many others, but the endorsement I want the most is yours!

Residents of District 20 deserve a State Senator like Doug Ervin, who will listen to their needs, represent them honestly, and fight against the short-sightedness and partisanship that is unfortunately prevalent in politics.

As an experienced accountant, corporate tax auditor, and financial systems architect, he possesses the knowledge necessary to critically analyze budgets and understand their true impact on our state’s economy. Moreover, exemplified through helping transform a small local business into an international firm, completing an Ironman triathlon, and tutoring 2nd-grade students in his free time, Doug understands the importance of hard work, perseverance, and patience.

Doug is working to restore fiscal responsibility to our state legislature so all students receive a great education, people have access to quality, affordable healthcare and we make smart infrastructure investments – all of which will help grow our economy and create good-paying jobs.

The son of an Air Force Captain and Teacher of Nursing, Doug has called Arizona home since the age of three and enjoys backpacking, reading, and spending time with his family. He is grateful for your time and support. Vote Doug Ervin for State Senator.
