Looking to shop local for your Thanksgiving celebration this year? Get a head start with tasty finds for any size of holiday gathering.

Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and that means tables filled with pumpkin pie, green beans, and turkey.

But what if you’re not much of a cook? To help our kitchen-averse readers make the most of the holiday without risking a visit from the fire department, The Copper Courier staff has compiled a list of restaurants that offer locally sourced, premade Thanksgiving dishes that you can take home and serve up with minimal effort.

And for those that know their way around an oven, we’ve added some excellent options for local fruit, veggies, and turkey.

Pre-Ordered Pies from Lux

Lux Central is already a favorite spot for coffee and pastries, but one of their best menu items is lesser-known. Seasonal pies are available for special order by calling Katie at (602) 361-8866, and judging by the towers of pie boxes stacked on the counter last November, you’ll want to get your order in sooner rather than later!

Urban Beans “Thanksforgoinvegan” Meal

Keep an eye out for this local vegan option! Last year’s offering included a delicious combination of slow-roasted vegan turkey, ginger-glazed yams, cranberry-orange compote, and more. As we get closer to November 25th, check their website for this year’s menu and ordering options.

Locally Sourced Turkey

Pre-order your fresh Thanksgiving turkey from Phoenix-based The Meat Shop on their website or by emailing [email protected]

Chompie’s Thanksgiving Meal for 4

Looking for a straightforward classic option with turkey, stuffing, green beans, macaroni, and more? Chompie’s has locations throughout Arizona, and offers a “Turkey Meal Box” for curbside pickup. For a more elaborate and all-inclusive option, keep an eye out for their 2021 Made-to-Order Thanksgiving Menu!

Farm Fresh Fruits and Veggies

Uptown Farmers Market features over 150 vendors! From corn to cheese to coffee, you can get all of your holiday groceries at their bi-weekly event. The market is open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Wednesdays and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays at 5757 N Central Ave. Phoenix, AZ.
