Maricopa County has expanded access to a variety of voting options in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In-person voting in Maricopa County will be available in just over a month starting on October 7 through Election Day.

Registered voters are asked to check back in October for specific location information.

The deadline for voter registration this year is Oct. 5. In-person voting will become available two days later on Oct. 7 through Election Day. Ballots will be mailed out for mail-in voting also on Oct. 7. The last day voters can request a ballot by mail is Oct. 23 and October 27 is the last day voters can mail ballots back.

According to the Maricopa County Recorder’s Office website, registered voters should check back in October for specific voting location information. They can do so by visiting BeBallotReady.Vote

Early voters can also sign up for email reminders and text message updates so they can be alerted when their ballot is going to be mailed to them, when the filled out ballot has been received by the recorder’s office, and when it has been verified and tabulated.

Those who want to become paid poll workers or volunteer registering voters can sign up here. Those interested must be registered to vote.

On August 14, the Maricopa County Elections Department revealed that more voters participated in the 2020 Primary Election than ever before.

Go to BeBallotReady.Vote to check if you’re registered to vote and see what’s on the ballot.
