Spring is easily one of Arizona’s busiest times. With MLB’s Spring Training and the Waste Management Open mere weeks apart, it’s a huge time in metro Phoenix for sports fans. But with the (mostly) ideal weather, it’s also a great time to head outdoors in both Phoenix and Tucson. Plus, both cities are teeming with festivals and events that make Arizona a great place to visit during the spring for locals and out-of-towners alike.

If you’re looking to overnight in either city or take a spring break staycation, here are some hotels in both cities offering deals. Happy spring travels!

The Camby

2401 E. Camelback Road in central Phoenix

Located in the heart of central Phoenix, The Camby is a modern hotel with cool desert vibes. Think pictures of cacti with pink neon lighting on the walls and other colorful, contemporary art throughout the property. The hip vibe extends to the contemporary rooms that even have shiny copper-colored ceilings above the beds. Top amenities include a rooftop pool, it’s on-site New American restaurant called Artizen, and a craft cocktail bar called The Bee’s Knees. The hotel is also within walking distance of the Biltmore Fashion Park and Esplanade, both of which house numerous shops and restaurants.

The deal: Arizona residents can receive up to 20% off their stay. Learn more about this deal here.

Don’t miss: The bar and restaurant at this hotel is stellar. Try the bar’s signature Bee’s Knees craft cocktail.

Found: Re Phoenix Hotel

1100 N. Central Ave in downtown Phoenix

The Found: Re is an arts-centric hotel in downtown Phoenix. The fun starts when you walk in the door. Expect to see a striking “Burtney” creation—a wall panel depicting a mostly nude Burt Reynolds from his infamous magazine spread with blonde hair that resembles the mane of Britney Spears hanging behind the check-in desk. It’s quite the site. Just off the lobby is an art gallery featuring rotating art shows. The 104 guest rooms are contemporary and outfitted with plush beds and local art (naturally) on the wall. Pets are welcome free of charge. If you can swing the cost, the suites feature open-air balconies that serve up prime views of downtown Phoenix.

The deal: Arizona residents receive 10% off the hotel’s best available rates provided they show ID. This is part of Found:Re’s Local Love package. The hotel is also offering a special spring training package and even an astrology package that comes with a made-to-order book detailing the guest’s unique astrological birth chart.

Don’t miss: All of the art featured in the hotel is available for purchase.

Hotel Adeline is a contemporary hotel in Scottsdale. Like many hotels in metro Phoenix, the centerpiece here is the 3,000-square-foot, zero-edge outdoor pool outfitted with private cabanas. This hotel hosts Liquid Sunshine pool parties with a live DJ on the weekends from March through September. Many of the 213 guest rooms feature views of this lively pool. The hotel also features a restaurant called Selfmade that offers indoor and outdoor dining.

The deal: Hotel Adeline is offering 15% off a weekend stay. Learn more about this deal in the link.

Don’t miss: Hotel Adeline is home to a stellar speakeasy called Straight Up that’s just off the lobby.

Renaissance Phoenix Glendale Hotel & Spa

9495 W. Entertainment Blvd. in Glendale

Located nearby State Farm Stadium and the Desert Diamond Arena (maybe you’re in town for a concert?), the Renaissance Phoenix Glendale Hotel & Spa is an 11 story hotel that overlooks the stadium. If you’re heading to any West Valley destination, this would be an ideal place to stay. This hotel is also mere steps from Westgate, which has plenty of shops and restaurants. Rooms are modern and outfitted with comfortable beds, deep tubs, and glass showers. The property features 324 guest rooms and suites, a spa, and an on-site restaurant, Desert Sage Restaurant & Bar.

The deal: The hotel’s savings in the city (get it?) package offers bookers up to a 10% discount on stays from now through May 31. The hotel is also being renovated and hopes to finish this year.

Don’t miss: The newly renovated rooms are already getting rave reviews (especially the giant bath tubs!).

The Graduate Tucson is just a short walk from the campus of the University of Arizona, making it an ideal spot for parents visiting their kids enrolled at the college. This hotel is part of a large chain of hotels that are, you guessed it, all near colleges. Most rooms here feature views of the area, comfortable beds, toiletries from Malin + Goetz, and Southwestern flair, like pictures of the region’s stunning landscape. The hotel also offers complimentary bikes for its guests.

The deal: The hotel’s Early Bird Special gives guests up to 20% off their room rates provided they book three days in advance or sooner. Read more about the hotel’s deals in the link.

One of the hotel’s top amenities is its heated outdoor saltwater pool.
