Here’s where to find Friday the 13th tattoo deals in metro Phoenix

The year 2026 is hitting those who love all things superstitious, spooky and love a good tattoo deal with not only one Friday the 13th but a second one just a month later.

That’s why it may feel a little like de ja vu seeing all of your favorite tattoo shops advertising Friday the 13th specials — they likely were doing the same thing just a month ago.

And on Friday the 13th you not only get deals and discounts on specialty tattoos, but some shops also offer discounts on piercings as well. So, on Friday, March 13, many metro Phoenix tattoo shops will open their doors all day — and some even into the night — to tattoo as many people as possible.

Most shops will be accepting clients on a first come, first served basis, however some will require appointments, so you’ll want to check with your favorite shop ahead of time.

Do tattoo shops do discounts on Friday the 13th?

Yes. Tattoo shops do discounts on Friday the 13th. How did this tradition get started?

It’s often credited to Oliver Peck, the co-owner of Elm Street Tattoo in Dallas, known for his appearance on the television show “Ink Master” and briefly being married to Kat Von D.

In a 2017 interview with Vice, Peck said he drew inspiration from fellow artist Dave Lum’s annual Halloween tattoo specials and created an event around the idea of Friday the 13th tattoo specials. The inaugural event took place in 1995 at Pair O’ Dice in Dallas and involved tattooing the number 13 on as many people as he could in a 24-hour period.

How many Friday the 13ths in 2026?

There will be three Friday the 13ths in 2026.

The first is in February, the second in March and the final one will land in November.

Captain Tattoo Art Collective

Captain Tattoo Art Collective will have tons of flash designs to choose from with prices starting at $13. Depending on the chosen tattoo, you could spend $13, $31, $113 or $131, plus tip.

Tattoos will be first come, first served. Food vendors will be on hand plus there will be giveaways happening throughout the event along with special Friday the 13th shirts available for purchase.

DarkArt Tattoo Collective

DarkArt Tattoo Collective’s Friday the 13th celebration will have flash sheet tattoos starting at $40, with the price reflecting arm or leg placement only and some artists will only be tattooing these areas.

It’s first come, first served, no appointments available and this event will be cash only.

Everlasting Ink

Everlasting Ink in Phoenix will be having a Friday the 13th flash event where you could snag a $20, $40 or $60 tattoo off the provided flash sheets.

There will not be appointments for this event, walk-ins only, first come, first served.

Inferno Ink

Choose $40-$60 tattoos from a flash sheet, plus $10 off select piercings all day long. Guests will be limited to a two tattoo maximum and will not be tattooing hands, feet, necks, face or explicit areas.

It’ll be first come, first served, so head to the check-in table at the front of the shop to get on the digital waitlist. While you wait, feel free to leave and come back once you’re closer to the top of the list.

Inked Family Tattoo will be offering hundreds of designs to choose from with the prices ranging from $20 all the way up to $350 depending on your chosen tattoo. Plus, you can snag any piercing for $20.

It’ll be first come, first served and there will be a food vendor on site along with plenty of seating while you wait for your turn.

Lady Luck Tattoo

Lady Luck Tattoo in downtown Phoenix will be doing appointments only for their Friday the 13th tattoo celebration, there won’t be any walk-ins for this event. Guests can pick from the provided flash sheet and add color or alter the size with prices ranging from $60-$200.

Limitless Ink Tattoo

Limitless Ink Tattoo will be doing their celebration a little bit differently. What’s the same: The shop is offering up flash sheets for guests to choose from quarter-sized tattoos for $13, half dollar-sized tattoos for $31 and palm-sized tattoos for $60.

What’s different is this is not a one-day celebration for those who don’t wish to wait in line all day. While those wishing for an authentic experience will still get that opportunity on Friday, March 13, those who want the deal without the wait can prepay for their tattoo between Sunday, March 8-12 or on Feb. 13 and be added to a list to redeem their tattoo from March 14-31.

Additionally, anyone wishing to get this deal must like and share Limitless Tattoo’s Facebook post and follow their page.

It’ll be first come, first served at Lost Dutchman with tattoos ranging from $80-$130, with a color add-on costing an additional $40. Arms and legs are the only places the tattoo artists will be tattooing and to celebrate Arizona‘s birthday, the flash sheets will include Arizona-inspired designs as well as the traditional Friday the 13th designs.

Sad Boy Studios will be set up outside of their home base for this Friday the 13th celebration. They’ll be tattooing patrons all day long at Overdue in downtown Phoenix and guests will be able to enjoy food, coffee, live music and even a fashion show while they wait their turn in line.

This event is first come, first served with the flash pricing as follows: $13 plus a $7 tip for the “tiny terror” designs, $30 for bigger designs along with options for $60, $100, $150 and $200. Artists will only be tattooing arms and legs.
