At Yuma’s No Kings: Vote Early event, Bill Bowlus-Root said he came out because he believes people need to speak up when they’re unhappy with the direction of the country.
Bowlus-Root said individual voices become stronger when people act together, and he encouraged others not to underestimate the power of participating and voting.
“Your vote does count. Your voice is very important, and that’s how this democracy works,” he said.
