ASU Project Humanities volunteers will sort donations and label clothing and shoes for distribution to people experiencing homelessness.
Copper State Victory Tucson Phone Bank
(Tucson, 3 – 6 p.m.)
Copper State Victory volunteers will call Tucson-area voters, with location details provided after registration.
Fight for Reproductive Justice
(Mesa, 3 – 6 p.m.)
AZ AANHPI for Equity will host a reproductive-rights panel and community action event focused on state and national reproductive health issues.
White Mountains Weekly Rally
(Show Low, 4 – 4:30 p.m.)
Navajo County Indivisible Community will host a short weekly rally in Show Low focused on current national issues, with location details provided after registration.
Pro-Union Rush-hour Resistance Rally in Maryvale
(Phoenix, 5 – 6 p.m.)
Maverick Zine will host a rush-hour visibility rally in Maryvale focused on democracy and workers’ issues.
Saturday (Aug. 1)
Hands Off Our Vote Rally and Food Drive
(Tempe, 7 – 8:15 a.m.)
Tempe Rising Indivisible will host a morning rally and food drive at Cole Park focused on voting rights and election integrity.
Service Saturday for People Experiencing Homelessness
(Tempe, 8:30 – 10:30 a.m.)
ASU Project Humanities volunteers will help people experiencing homelessness receive clothing, shoes, toiletries, and other donated items.
ICE Out of Home Depot Phoenix Protest
(Phoenix, 9 – 11 a.m.)
Community members will gather outside the Home Depot on East Thomas Road to call attention to immigration enforcement affecting workers and nearby neighborhoods.
Fight FLOCK Community Action Meeting
(Cottonwood, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.)
Indivisible Cottonwood/Cornville/Clarkdale will host a community meeting about automated license-plate-reader technology, transparency, and local accountability.
Our Bodies, Our Lives Community Resource Expo
(Phoenix, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.)
Desert Star Institute for Family Planning will host a free reproductive-justice resource fair focused on health care, education, and community support.

West Valley and North Phoenix CAT Chat

Save Our Schools Arizona will host a virtual Community Action Team meeting focused on Arizona public education and volunteer opportunities.
Monday (Aug. 3)
CD1 Protest at Schweikert’s Office
(Scottsdale, 8 – 9 a.m.)
Participants will gather outside Rep. David Schweikert’s Scottsdale office for a weekly rally that also collects letters to the congressman and food, personal care items, and household goods for the Scottsdale Food Bank.
Stand with SRP Board District 8

Tempe Rising Indivisible will attend an SRP board meeting focused on clean energy, public power, and accountability.
Eyes on ICE Vigil

Indivisible Northern Arizona will host a weekly vigil in Flagstaff focused on immigration enforcement.
Night of Artful Remembrance
(Phoenix, 6 – 8 p.m.)
Southwest Recovery Alliance will host an art-centered gathering remembering people lost to overdose and the war on drugs.

Rush-hour “We the People” Rally and Food Drive

Tempe Rising Indivisible will meet at Cole Park for a morning visibility rally and food drive.
Back-to-School Climate Conversations with Youth
(Tucson, 12 – 1 p.m.)
AZ AANHPI Advocates will host a youth-focused discussion on climate change, extreme heat, energy affordability, and environmental justice.
Pack the Chambers: Stop the ICE Prison Camp in Surprise
(Surprise, 6 – 8 p.m.)
Northwest Valley Indivisible will organize attendance at a Surprise City Council meeting focused on a proposed ICE detention facility.

CUSD School Board Meeting
(Chandler, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.)
LD13 Democrats will organize attendance at a Chandler Unified School District board meeting focused on public schools, students, and educators.
Thursday (Aug. 6)
Rush-hour Resistance at the Phoenix ICE Field Office
(Phoenix, 7:30 – 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 – 6 p.m.)
Participants will gather near the ICE field office in central Phoenix for morning and afternoon visibility events.
Veterans Town Hall
(Apache Junction, 5 – 7 p.m.)
The Pinal County Democratic Party will host a community forum where veterans and military families can discuss challenges, resources, and priorities.
Tempe Rising Indivisible August Strategy Session
(Tempe, 6 – 8 p.m.)
Tempe Rising Indivisible will host a civic strategy session focused on local priorities, housing, public safety, crisis response, and community resources.
