Yesterday, we talked about Tucson native Savannah Guthrie returning to the “Today” show next month after her mother was apparently abducted in February.
The FBI has released surveillance videos of a masked man who was outside Guthrie’s mother’s home on the night she vanished. However, no arrests have been made, and 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie has not been found.
The Guthrie family is offering a $1 million reward for information leading to Nancy’s return.
I asked what your thoughts on the case are, and here’s what you said:
💬 “I just don’t understand how this could be. I’ve heard of people vanishing without a trace but this close to home, and all the resources FBI has in these days is mind blowing so why and how?” — Lara L.
💬 “I don’t think she is still with us. I really think the sheriff is a control freak and wanted to get credit for everything. Hence, he hindered the investigation. He should get fired. Now too much time has passed and he totally messed up. I pray every day they will find Nancy. Sounds like the person or persons that took her has backed off because they know they’ll eventually be caught. Someone probably has something against someone in the family. I pray she is still with us but feel that is just wishful thinking. Hope she is found one way or another so the poor family won’t need to wonder where she is.” — Vic S.
