Many public events are sprouting up across Arizona as vaccination numbers across the state continue to rise.

In Phoenix and around the Valley, gatherings are back!

From live entertainment to simply gathering with loved ones, the people of Arizona now have opportunities to get back out into our communities.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the last year has largely been filled with nothing but looking at the walls of our own homes.

But as the number of Arizonans vaccinated has increased, the state is lifting restrictions on gatherings. Now, events in Phoenix with more than 50 people do not need permission from the city, and businesses are allowed to operate without any restrictions on capacity.

Listed below are various opportunities to get out and about. Admission is free to all of the events.

Tempe Marketplace is hosting free music performances throughout the month of July. Come check out the bands and performers who will put on free shows. Each performance will run from 7-10 p.m.

  • July 2 — Plan B-3
  • July 3 — MT and the Streamliners
  • July 9 — SoulBird
  • July 10 — Henry Thompson and the KC Angels Band

The Living Room, a wine lounge in Scottsdale, is holding a series of live music performances as well. Watch the cafe transform into a music venue on Fridays from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. as local artists showcase their talent.
