If you like beer and state parks, the exciting new collab between Arizona State Parks and Trails and Historic Brewing Company is for you.
Arizona State Parks and Trails has partnered with Historic Brewing Company to introduce craft beers inspired by the state’s parks. The collaboration aims to engage the community with the outdoors and Arizona’s history through a series of park-themed seasonal beers. Plus, a portion of the proceeds from these specialty brews will benefit the state’s parks, enhancing their preservation and relevance.
About the crafty collab
The first release of these park-themed brews, a Mexican lager, is scheduled for October and will be available at Historic Brewing Company’s locations in Williams and Flagstaff. This lager features the historic Kanally Ranch House at Oracle State Park, a notable wildlife refuge and Arizona’s first designated International Dark Sky Park.
To celebrate the launch of the Kannally Ranch House Mexican Lager, three public events, including tastings and volunteer opportunities at Oracle State Park, are planned for late October and early November. These events will offer community members a chance to engage with Arizona’s natural heritage.
Historic Brewing Company’s co-founder, John Kennelly, emphasized how the partnership showcased Arizona’s cultural landmarks. Michelle Thompson, deputy assistant director at Arizona State Parks and Trails, also expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, highlighting its potential to inspire park stewardship.
