A man crashed his truck through the gates of a police station in Glendale, Arizona, twice in less than a month, with the second time leading to a dramatic search as he “recklessly drove through the city,” the Glendale Police Department said.
Alberto Jaquez Rojas, 35, rammed and destroyed gates at the Gateway Police Station and was arrested after both incidents, police said.
During the more recent incident on March 20, police were able to use cameras to locate and keep up with Rojas as he drove through Glendale, about nine miles northwest of Phoenix.
Bodycam footage released by police showed the moment officers with a K-9 unit arrested Rojas outside an Applebees restaurant.
“His actions put the lives and well-being of many people on the roadway in great danger,” police said.
