Sweetgreen, a national chain serving up quick salads and bowls, is opening its first two locations in Arizona.
The first one will open at Scottsdale Quarter on Sept. 23, while the other, located at Camelback Road and 32nd Street in Phoenix, will open later in the fall.
The Scottsdale location will be over 2,500 square feet and offer indoor seating for 30 people and patio seating for 36.
I’ve been to Sweetgreen in Washington, DC, and Chicago, and I’m stoked for it to open here. I appreciate a place where I can get a fast but healthy meal, and this company does it really well.
Some menu items that sound particularly good to me are the Hot Honey Chicken protein plate and the Harvest Bowl with chicken, sweet potatoes, apples, goat cheese, almonds, kale, rice, and balsamic vinaigrette.
Customers can also build their own salad or bowl, with lots of choices of proteins, vegetables, mix-ins, and dressings.
