A bougie steakhouse with locations in 15 states is getting ready to make its Arizona debut this fall in Chandler.
J. Alexander’s, part of SPB Hospitality, is expected to open in mid-November near 56th Street and Ray Road.
“Chandler provides an ideal setting to introduce J. Alexander’s to Arizona,” said Shawn Van Winkle, senior director of marketing for SPB Hospitality, in a news release. “Its vibrant community and dynamic dining scene provide the perfect backdrop for our commitment to exceptional food, genuine hospitality and an atmosphere where guests can truly savor the moment.”

The restaurant expects to hire 90-100 employees beginning in September, giving each staff member ample time to train ahead of opening day. Interested applicants can apply in person at Sonesta Select Phoenix, at 920 N. 54th St., or online at jobs.jalexanders.com.
J. Alexander’s menu includes hand-cut steaks and prime rib, sushi, seafood salads and entrees like grilled salmon, crab cakes and barbecue baby back ribs.
The restaurant also offers an extensive wine list and handcrafted cocktails and martinis.
