Drake’s Hollywood, a bougie Texas-based restaurant known for the “World’s Coldest Martini” is making its Arizona debut in Scottsdale.
Drake’s Hollywood currently has three locations: in Dallas, Houston and West Hollywood. CEO and chairman Hunter Pond said Scottsdale was the obvious choice for the fourth location.
“The locals (in Scottsdale) really value good food, drinks and nightlife,” Pond said.

Drake’s Hollywood is “a spot where you go in and any night can feel like a special occasion, without being done up. It’s theatrical from the moment you walk in,” Pond said.
The vibe and ambiance are the same at each Drake’s location, draped in “Old Hollywood glamor.” The Scottsdale location will feature a circular bar surrounded by vintage-inspired murals and portraits of classic Hollywood icons. There will be two private dining rooms and valet service for all guests upon arrival.
What’s on the menu at Drake’s Hollywood Scottsdale?
Menu highlights include cauliflower dynamite, lobster escargot, steak tartare, lobster pasta, parmesan-crusted snapper, honey truffle chicken, A5 Japanese Wagyu steak with white truffle butter and for dessert, a 24-layer strawberry cake.
The Drake’s Hollywood team tries to “keep the same DNA when it comes to the ambiance, the food program,” Pond said. “Where each locations gets its own unique flair is the cocktail program.”
The location-specific cocktail menu is still in the works, Pond said. But guests can expect drinks made using local ingredients and producers that are unique to the city.
Drake’s Hollywood’s most famous cocktail is the World’s Coldest Martini, which comes with “ice on the top that you could skate on,” Pond said.
How to visit Drake’s Hollywood Scottsdale
