Former US Sen. Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona lobbied the Chandler Planning Commission on Oct. 15 to encourage the city to build a new data center or face federal intervention.
Sinema said she is lobbying on behalf of Active Infrastructure, a data center development firm, and that she is “working hand-in-glove with the Trump administration.”
The city is scheduled to vote on the proposal on Nov. 13.
