It looks like we have another rainy weekend ahead of us. ⛈️
I’m not tired of the rain yet—I’ve been enjoying the drizzling on my roof—but I haven’t been in any bad storms. I imagine the drivers who got caught in the West Valley hail on Wednesday are over it.
As a result of the forecast, some events for this weekend have been canceled, but there’s still a lot going on:
- Peoria Asian Night Market, Friday
- Gilbert Days Festival, Friday-Saturday
- Goodguys 28th Speedway Motors Southwest Nationals in Scottsdale, Friday-Sunday
- Panda Fest in Scottsdale, Friday-Sunday
- Tucson Museum of Art’s Fall Artisans Market, Friday-Sunday
- Indian Frybread & Arts Festival in Chandler, Saturday
- El Tour de Tucson, Saturday
- Quartzsite Fall Festival, Saturday
- Light Up Ahwatukee Holiday Festival in Phoenix, Saturday
- Asada & Brew Festival in San Luis, Saturday
- Fall Rail Festival in Chandler, Saturday
- Dry Eyes Film Festival in Phoenix, Saturday
- Paul Bond Boots & Music Festival in Nogales, Saturday
- Portal to the Past Festival in Phoenix, Saturday
- Thriftapalooza in Phoenix, Saturday-Sunday
- Enchanted Island Harvest Festival in Phoenix, Saturday-Sunday
- Monster Market in Phoenix, Sunday
Editor’s note: This story was updated to remove Arizona Snowbowl’s opening day on Friday, because the ski resort opened ahead of schedule on Thursday.
