A weekly roundup of upcoming Arizona political events, protests, advocacy opportunities, and ways to take action statewide from Friday, Feb. 13, through Wednesday, Feb. 18.

Want to get involved this week? You can attend ICE Out rallies in Tempe and Glendale, join weekly rush-hour resistance gatherings across Phoenix, and participate in community food drives tied to local advocacy efforts.

Here’s our weekly round-up of upcoming events and actions:

Friday (Feb. 13)

Rush-hour Resistance Rally @ 25th Ave & Happy Valley
( 25th Avenue and Happy Valley Road, Phoenix, 8–9 a.m.)
Desert Democracy hosts this North Phoenix edition of the Rush Hour Resistance series, encouraging peaceful participation during peak commuter hours. 

Activate and Caffeinate at a Local Love Biz and Food Drive
(Private location, 10 a.m.–12 p.m.)
Tempe Rising Indivisible is hosting a daytime community event that includes a food drive and a meet-and-greet with the “SRP 8” team. Registration is required for location details.

White Mountains Weekly Rally
(Private location, 4–4:30 p.m.)
Hosted by Navajo County Indivisible Community, this weekly 30-minute protest highlights concerns about federal immigration enforcement and national political developments. Registration is required for address details.

 

Rush-hour Resistance Rally @ 35th Ave & Bethany Home
(Phoenix, 4–5:30 p.m.)
Desert Democracy hosts this recurring rally along a busy Phoenix corridor, part of a broader “Rush Hour Resistance” effort aimed at engaging commuters and calling attention to threats to democratic institutions and civil rights.

Get ICE Out of Arizona Rally
(67th Avenue and Camelback Road, Glendale, 7 p.m.)
Organizers are calling for a peaceful evening protest opposing immigration raids and deportations. Participants are encouraged to bring signs and noisemakers and to keep the demonstration nonviolent.

Saturday (Feb. 14)

“We the People” Artbeat ICE Out Rally & Food Drive
(Cole Park/Tempe Pedestrian Bridge, 9:30–11:30 a.m.)
Tempe Rising Indivisible is hosting what organizers describe as a fusion of art and activism. Attendees are encouraged to bring creative signs and donate food while rallying against immigration enforcement policies. The pedestrian bridge offers high visibility to both drivers and foot traffic.

Tuesday (Feb. 17)

“We the People” Artbeat ICE Out rally on the Tempe Pedestrian Bridge! Food Drive
(2000 E Carson Dr. Tempe, AZ, 9:30–11:30 a.m.)
Tempe Rising Indivisible will gather at Cole Park and the Tempe Pedestrian Bridge for what organizers describe as a fusion of art and activism. The rally includes a food drive and encourages creative, high-visibility signs.

Rush Hour “We the People” Artbeat Festival Food Drive
(Cole Park, Tempe, 7:30–9 a.m.)
Tempe Rising Indivisible is holding a morning rally and food drive near the entrance to the pedestrian bridge. Organizers encourage large, visible signs aimed at morning commuters.

Wednesday (Feb. 18)

“We the People” Artbeat ICE Out rally on the Tempe Pedestrian Bridge! Food Drive
(2000 E. Carson Drive, Tempe, 12–1 p.m.)
The midweek edition of the recurring Indivisible rally continues its call for civic engagement and democratic accountability.
