Jessica Sachs is an undergraduate student at the University of Colorado Boulder, with a double major in journalism and political science. She served as editor-in-chief of the CU Independent, her university’s award-winning newspaper. She previously worked there as a managing editor, senior news editor and staff reporter. In addition to her work at the CU Independent, she has interned at Rocky Mountain PBS and served as an editorial assistant at the Coloradan Magazine. A journalist with a passion for investigative reporting, Jessi expects to graduate in spring 2026.
