US Rep. Greg Stanton of Arizona released a 34-page investigative report examining how the Trump administration is redirecting FEMA resources to support its deportation agenda instead of ensuring an effective disaster response.
The report cites FEMA whistleblowers who say DHS leadership cut nearly 30% of the agency’s staff and reassigned more than 100 emergency responders to planning ICE raids and operating detention centers.
