At an Oct. 6 press conference, Rep. Greg Stanton (D-AZ) called on GOP gubernatorial nominee Rep. Andy Biggs to sign a discharge petition that would force a House vote to release additional Epstein files.
The petition is currently just two signatures shy of forcing a floor vote.
This isn’t Biggs’ first time clashing over the records: In 2025, he was one of only two House Oversight subcommittee Republicans to vote against releasing files after reports surfaced that Donald Trump was mentioned.
Months later in November, once Trump reversed his stance, Biggs voted in favor of the bill mandating disclosure.
