On Monday, we talked about Arizona’s HCR 2003, a measure that would ban transgender students from playing on a sports team not aligned with their sex at birth.
It would also prohibit trans students from using the locker rooms, bathrooms, or showers of the gender they identify with.
Advocates sued over the measure, arguing it violates the rule that ballot measures can only be about one subject, and that its title is misleading.
If the lawsuit fails and HCR 2003 makes it onto the ballot, it would need a majority of voters to approve it.
