Arizonans now have a new way to get COVID-19 testing at the Arizona State Fairgrounds near downtown Phoenix, Banner Health officials said Monday.
Gov. Doug Ducey announced the new diagnostic testing site via Twitter Monday morning.
Phoenix residents experiencing symptoms can call Banner Health at 1-844-549-1851 to schedule an appointment to get tested. Walk-ins, however, will not be accepted at the Arizona State Fairgrounds.

Those with symptoms who show up at the testing site without an appointment will be asked to come back after undergoing a phone screening first.
Symptoms include fever, dry cough, and shortness of breath.
Banner Health said in a statement that there will also be added lanes to current sites, as well as two additional coronavirus testing locations in Colorado.
The World Health Organization recommends for people to continue to wash their hands often, avoid touching their face, and stand at least six feet away from others.
Currently, there are over 6,700 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Arizona. The state has registered 275 coronavirus-related deaths.
