Arizona is home to tons of indoor amusement parks where kids can jump, climb, slide, and play for hours. But the kids don’t have to be the only ones having fun. There are plenty of places that provide fun for the whole family—parents included. Many of the area’s indoor amusement parks also cater to parents, with adult-friendly amenities like full bars, massage chairs, and lounge areas.

Keep reading to discover Arizona’s best indoor water parks, playgrounds, and other entertainment venues that kids and parents will enjoy.

Get Air

330 S. Toole Ave. #200, Tucson

At Get Air, kids of all ages can jump and bounce for hours. The space features wall-to-wall trampolines, a foam pit, a fidget ladder, and much more. You can also play games like trampoline dodgeball and slamball (trampoline basketball). There’s even a Kiddie Court for jumpers under 46 inches tall.

Adults who want to kick back and relax while their kids play can do so in Get Air’s massage chairs.

Rush Xtreme

190 S. Kyrene Road, Ste. 5, Chandler

Rush Xtreme is the perfect place for kids — and adults — to expend some energy in the most fun way possible. Rush Xtreme, formerly called Gravity Extreme Zone, is an indoor amusement park with attractions geared toward adrenaline junkies and active adventurers.

Spend the day jumping on giant trampolines, climbing the rock wall, or testing your strength and agility on the obstacle course. Many thrilling attractions are suitable for adults too, like the Sky Walk Course, which includes 12 unique adventure elements suspended 18 feet in the air. Bungees — one of the most popular attractions — allows you to soar up to 25 feet in the air, while Drop Slide takes you up 30 feet and sends you on an exhilarating free-fall journey back to the ground.

Makutu’s Island

6919 W. Ray Road, Chandler

The main attraction at Makutu’s Island, a tropical-themed indoor playground, is an enormous tree that houses tunnels, tubes, slides, and more for kids to explore. There’s also a zip line, bungee jump, separate toddler area, arcade games, and a four-story-tall snake slide.

The cafe serves up pizza, wings, and snacks, as well as draft beer and hard seltzer for the adults.

Tilt Studio

5000 Arizona Mills Circle, Ste. 669, Tempe

With 40,000 square feet spread across two stories, Tilt Studio has plenty of space to play. Located inside Arizona Mills, a shopping center in Tempe, this family entertainment establishment features an arcade with more than 150 games, including retro and virtual reality games, plus pinball, air hockey, and tons more.

The Taproom, located on the second floor, has a full bar and plenty of food options, including burgers, sandwiches, salads, pizza, and wings.

If you want to do some shopping after your family fun day, there are more than 185 stores located in Arizona Mills. Or, if you want to continue the merriment, the mall also has a movie theater, aquarium, and LEGOLAND Discovery Center.

Jake’s Unlimited

1830 E. Baseline Road, Mesa

Jake’s Unlimited, formerly known as Amazing Jake’s, is the perfect indoor playground for kids and kids at heart. There are carnival rides, including bumper cars, spinning tea cups, and a classic carousel, more than 170 arcade and video games, a virtual reality area, a two-story laser tag arena, and a 12-lane bowling alley.

All passes include unlimited food and soft drinks, so kids can refuel in between activities.

There are also some adult-only offerings, including a billiards area with pool tables and a bar with draft beer, craft cocktails, and plenty of TVs.

End your day on a sweet note at Jake’s Sweet Shoppe™, where you’ll find a variety of over-the-top desserts like Unicorn Tacos™, ice cream sundaes, and ice cream sandwiches.

Great Wolf Lodge

7333 N. Pima Road, Scottsdale

Make memories — and a splash — during a fun-filled family getaway at Great Wolf Lodge. This indoor water park and resort has tons of attractions and delicious dining options for kids of all ages, as well as adults. The water park features a lazy river, a slew of slides, a kiddie pool, a wave pool, and a treehouse.

Adults can sip their favorite drinks at The Watering Hole, a bar located within the water park, or rent a private cabana with comfy seating, a TV, and access to a server who can deliver food and drinks.

Non-aquatic entertainment options include a bowling alley, rock climbing wall, arcade, mini golf, fitness classes, and a Build-a-Bear Workshop.

AZ on the Rocks

16447 N. 91st St., Ste. #105, Scottsdale

Do your kids love to climb? Treat them to a day at AZ on the Rocks and let them put their climbing skills to the test. AZ on the Rocks has more than 14,000 square feet of textured climbing terrain to explore with both sport climbing and bouldering areas. There’s a beginner climbing area, as well as sections for more advanced climbers and a spectator area for those who prefer to watch.

If you want to get in a more traditional workout while the kids climb, check out the exercise area, which has cardiovascular and weight machines, as well as free weights.

Pangaea Land of the Dinosaurs

9500 E. Vía de Ventura, Scottsdale

For a family fun day that’s as educational as it is exciting, head to Pangaea Land of the Dinosaurs. Located on the Arizona Boardwalk, this indoor theme park is all about — you guessed it — dinosaurs.

With 12 dinosaur exhibits to explore and tons of activities, there are entertainment possibilities for everyone. Parents are sure to learn a lot at the exhibits, while kids can mold a dinosaur at the Clay Creation Station, pan for fossils and gemstones, or uncover items in the Dino Dig Pit. There’s even an Adventure Arcade with more than 20 games and plenty of prizes.

When you’re done, you can check out the other attractions on the boardwalk, like Laser + Mirror Maze, UFO Experience, and Museum of Illusions. There is a wide range of restaurants nearby too.

Urban Air Adventure & Trampoline Park

4816 E. Ray Road, Phoenix

Urban Air is an indoor adventure park for all ages. Kids will be bouncing off the walls (literally!) when they use the apex trampolines — or climbing them when they traverse the rock walls. They can also test their agility on the high-flying obstacle course or their balance on the Battle Beam. There’s also a tumble track, trampoline dodgeball and basketball, a dedicated area for youngsters seven and under, and more.

Adults will enjoy the ProZone, which features wall-mounted trampolines and is designed for older or more experienced adventurers.
