Jaripeo Y Baile Rawhide is a two-day cultural celebration of Mexican rodeo, music and community spirit at Rawhide Western Town & Event Center on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 25-26.

Jaripeo Y Baile will feature a dynamic lineup of traditional rodeo competitions and performances at the Buck-N Rodeo grounds.

Events include cala de caballo (reigning exercises), bronc rides, trick roping, escaramuza (side-saddle performances), bull riding, Carrera de Giros (a timed event like a barrel race) and Paso De La Muerte (full-speed jump from one unsaddled horse to a wild bronc mare).

Dave Horen, director of entertainment at WHP Presents, issued a statement saying, “This event is more than just a rodeo, it’s a celebration of artistry and culture. We’ve had rodeos at the Buck-N Rodeo Grounds before, but never ones quite like these. Jaripeos have a rich history, and attendees will get to experience a time-honored tradition, expert bull riding and the thrills that these events bring.”
