When you’re in the mood for a rich broth and perfectly cooked noodles, you don’t want to waste your time for the amateurs out there—you want the best ramen in town. We asked our readers where they think the best ramen in Tucson is and it was nearly unanimous: Raijin Ramen has the best ramen. It’s unassuming in its location, but our readers were adamant: this is the go-to spot for authentic Japanese ramen. Once you try it, you’ll get it and you’ll be a Raijin Ramen convert.
Raijin Ramen brings authentic Japanese cuisine to Tucson with its flavorful creations. The Tonkostu Ramen has a creamy, pork-based broth, and it’s a fan-favorite. It’s topped with seaweed, fried onions, and sesame seeds. You can choose from three different stylings: Black Roasted garlic, Red Spicy chili, and White. The most popular is the Black Roasted garlic.
Although ramen is the star of the show, Raijin Ramen also has incredible sides and small plates. The Karaage Don, a fried chicken dish, is a popular item, but many patrons also enjoy the restaurant’s gyoza, a pork and veggie potsticker.
Since opening, Raijin Ramen has quickly gained a loyal fanbase, which is clear in the fact that the restaurant has unanimously been voted as the Best Ramen spot. Tucson locals love that the food is consistently good and the service is exceptional. You might find the restaurant to be busy on weekends, but the wait is worth it. You won’t want to miss Tucson’s Best Ramen.
