Downtown Core Neighborhood Weekly Hang

When: Every Friday, 7-9 a.m. 

Where: Cactus Cloud Cafe in downtown Phoenix

“The best way to build a neighborhood is by having a third space like @cactuscloudcafe to meet at weekly! Join us every Friday from 7AM to 9AM, before the workday begins, even if it’s just to stop by and say hi to neighbors. No pressure if you can’t make it!”

Lookout Neighborhood Defense Committee Ice Cream Social

When: Tuesday, July 7, 6-8 p.m. 

Where: Near Seventh Street and Thunderbird Road, RSVP for more info

“Join us on Tuesday 7/7 from 6-8pm to see what we’ve been up to and join in on the fun! We’re hosting an ice cream social and we’ll have lots of sweet treats to share with y’all while we socialize and strategize.”

Coronado Plant it Forward Master Gardener Lecture Series

When: Saturday, July 11, 10-11 a.m.

“Mark your calendar for our first Master Gardener Lecture Series, Saturday, July 11th | 10a-11am (location TBD). Our neighbor and Master Gardener, Doreen Pollack, will be teaching us about best practices for watering desert landscape with the goal of reducing water consumption.”
