Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3, and there are still ways to participate in the election process and help people in your community.

Whether you want to work at the polls, find a community event, help someone with transportation, or connect voters with trained assistance, here are four places to start.

Check for last-minute election-worker openings

Arizona counties are still listing election-worker opportunities, but applying this close to Election Day does not guarantee a Nov. 3 assignment. Training is required before serving.

Find a Party at the Polls

Party at the Polls events are free, public, nonpartisan community gatherings organized through When We All Vote. The group says the events are meant to make voting feel more welcoming and celebratory.

Use our Party at the Polls guide to learn what to expect and find an event near you.

Help someone figure out transportation

If someone you know is having trouble figuring out how to get to the polls, you can help them compare available transportation options.

Current resources include an Election Day Lyft discount, Lime and HeadCount rides where available, and local public transit.

The Copper Courier’s Arizona transportation guide breaks down current ride, transit, and accessibility resources.

Help connect voters with trained assistance

Election Protection is a national, nonpartisan coalition that operates voter-help hotlines and trains volunteers.

One simple thing you can do is save and share 1-866-OUR-VOTE (1-866-687-8683). Multilingual assistance is also available.
