Do you all have any plans this weekend? I’ve been wanting to get out of town lately, but sadly a regular weekend isn’t enough time to go on a nice road trip.

I drove from Arizona to Florida during a winter vacation once, and I discovered something that I never knew I needed in Arizona until I saw it.

Have you ever been to Buc-ee’s?

If you haven’t, you may get a chance soon. There’s a possibility that Buc-ee’s may be coming to Arizona.

The Texas-based company had a rezoning request approved by the Goodyear Planning and Zoning Commission on January 17.

Buc-ee’s is a beaver-themed gas station and superstore. It sells brisket, beef jerky, fresh sandwiches, souvenirs, travel items, and more.

Goodyear approved a 71-acre property on the southeast corner of Bullard Avenue and the I-10 for rezoning.

I stopped at Buc-ee’s multiple times on my drive through Texas. It is that good.

Mayor Kate Gallego announced on Monday that Air France would begin a new nonstop service between Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and Charles de Gaulle International Airport in Paris.

This marks the first time there will be nonstop service between Phoenix and France. Service on the Boeing 787-900 Dreamliner aircraft will begin May 23, 2024, and will operate three days per week for the summer season (Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday).

Flights will leave Paris at 10:10 a.m., arriving in Phoenix at 12:10 p.m., then depart Phoenix at 2:10 p.m., arriving in Paris the next day at 9:15 a.m.

“Adding nonstop service to Paris is a major milestone that demonstrates our commitment to providing convenient and efficient travel options to and from Phoenix,” said Mayor Kate Gallego in a press release. “As our city continues to grow and become a destination for booming industries, I’m confident that direct service to Paris will unlock exciting possibilities for exploration and new business opportunities.”

Dutch Bros Coffee is relocating a large portion of its corporate jobs from Oregon to Arizona in the next 12 months, according to a report from Business Wire.

The coffee chain will primarily move strategic jobs that support day-to-day operations. All the jobs will be shifted to Arizona by the end of 2024.

Currently, Dutch Bros has over 70 locations in Arizona.

The move comes as Dutch Bros looks to continue its expansion across the US.
