BREAKING: Gov. Ducey Expands Arizona’s Stay-At-Home Order to May 15

On Wednesday, Gov. Doug Ducey announced Arizona’s stay-at-home order and travel restrictions will extend to May 15 – with exceptions.

Ducey said the travel restrictions will include those designated areas with travel advisories, including New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

Ducey also emphasized the state’s stay-at-home order will remain effective until May 15 with modifications.

As early as May 4, there will be a partial reopening of retail stories.

Openings will be expanded by May 8, and is voluntary, Ducey said.

He added that “this is an order that’s enforceable by law,” and violators will face a $2,500 fine and up to 6 months in jail.
