On Friday, at about 3:10 p.m., the 56th Fighter Wing and 944th Fighter Wing at Luke Air Force Base, along with the Air National Guard 161st Air Refueling Wing, honored the COVID-19 frontline workers with a special flyover.
The flyover included a formation of 15 aircraft that included seven F-16 Fighting Falcons, one KC-135 from the 161st Air Refueling Wing, and seven F-35A Lightning IIs.
Here’s some footage of the flyover as well as a map of where the flyover took place over Maricopa County. It includes Luke Air Force Base, Buckeye, Surprise, Litchfield Park, Goodyear, Tolleson, Phoenix Metro, Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Scottsdale, Deer Valley, Glendale, Peoria, Sun City West, and El Mirage.
