This section appears in Rent Check PHX, a free biweekly newsletter made for Phoenix renters, written by someone who’s lived it. Sign up here.

This is a space to share events that are focused on connecting with community and spending time with neighbors.

If you have an event you’d like to submit, email me!

Where: Welcome Diner

“Join us at the best happy hour around, @welcomediner, which serves happy hour ALL DAY on Tuesdays. Grab a seat at the table and meet downtown area residents! All neighborhoods and friends looking for a good deal are welcome!”

Coronado Pool Party

Where: Coronado Pool

“Join us for a day of fun and games and beat the heat at Coronado Pool! Admission is free for all, and we’ll have free food and treats (first come, first served).”

Later this year

The Roosevelt Action Association asked me share some info about its historic home tour on Nov. 14—the first one it’s held since 2019!

The group is looking for “event sponsors, community partners, vendors, volunteers, and participating homeowners.” Anyone interested can email info@rooseveltneighborhood.org.
