If you love reading and borrowing books, you may have noticed a new trend of libraries collaborating with musicians or cultural icons to make fun, decorative library cards.
Icelandic singer-songwriter Laufey worked with 50 libraries across the country, including Phoenix and Mesa, to create collectible cards.
Phoenix Public Library created a special edition card to honor “The Wallace and Ladmo Show,” a children’s TV program that aired locally for 35 years.
Now, Mesa Public Library is working with a local band to create a commemorative card that celebrates the library’s 120th anniversary and the band’s 25th anniversary of its breakout album.
Take a guess at which band it is, then check your answer in the story below!
