Where: Mountain America Stadium, 500 E. Veterans Way, Tempe

Description: “The food service workers, represented by UNITE HERE Local 11, have served thousands of students daily the entire school year. ASU food service workers are a key part of the university community, and they need and deserve fair and livable wages, adequate staffing, affordable health insurance, and respect and dignity from management. Stand in solidarity with ASU food service workers and join workers on the picket line!”

AJJ has 2 old school buses that travel 5 days a week & distributes the sandwiches & many other basic needs for people in great need. 4 times a year I go to Or Tzion in Scottsdale to make P & J sandwiches & organize sanitary packs. They are taken to several churches in Mesa & given to folks in tremendous need for something to eat.”
