@coppercourier WATCH: Bonnie Fuller talks about her own experience with IVF clinics, and how the ruling this week in Alabama is a warning shot for us all. WHAT HAPPENED: The dominoes continue to fall from the US Supreme Court's 2022 reversal of Roe v. Wade, and this week they fell onto the women and families in Alabama. That's where the state'S Supreme Court ruled that fertilized, un-implanted embryos made during IVF (in vitro fertilization) are now considered children under state law. The decision will seriously restrict, if not end, IVF in Alabama—and some of the state's largest IVF clinics have already paused operations. The 9 judges on the Alabama Supreme Court are all either elected Republicans, or were appointed by Republican governors. #ivf #choice ♬ original sound – Copper Courier
