Sebastian Mondaca expects to graduate in spring 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in sports journalism and a minor in Spanish. Mondaca has previously interned with The Arizona Republic.

Katrina Michalak expects to graduate in spring 2026 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a minor in business. Michalak has interned at The Arizona Republic and Totally Dublin magazine in Ireland.

Madeline Bates expects to graduate in spring 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication and a certificate in politcal history and leadership. Bates has interned for AZ Big Media and is the managing editor for The Chic Daily at ASU.

Ignacio Ventura expects to graduate in Fall 2024 with a master’s degree in mass communication. He attended the University of Southern California where he served as a news staff writer and multimedia journalist. In 2023, he joined KJZZ News as a reporter.

Amelia Monroe expects to graduate in Spring 2026 with bachelor’s degrees in journalism and mass communication and economics. Monroe has written for the Glendale Star and the Palo Alto Weekly. She is interested in business and politics reporting and hopes to gain more experience at her internship with MadridMedia in spring 2025.

Patrick Holleron expects to graduate in Fall 2024 with a master’s degree in sports journalism. He graduated from the University of Washington in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in communication and media studies. Holleron served as a writer for Fantasy Trading Room and a communications intern for Columbus Radio Group.

Kendall Flynn expects to graduate in Fall 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in sports journalism and a minor in Spanish. Flynn has interned with the Varsity Sports Show as a social media manager and AdPro 360 marketing and communications.

Aidan Hansen expects to graduate in Fall 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in sports journalism and a minor in Spanish. Hansen is a communications assistant with the College of Health Solutions at ASU and served as an intern with BJ Media.
