Consider booking an appointment at one of these barbershops in metro Phoenix and Tucson, as they are top-rated in both cities for providing great service based on the online reviews we scrutinized.

The Barber Room

2915 Hayden Road, Scottsdale

The Barber Room in Scottsdale provides haircuts primarily for men and kids. Guests can watch TVs mounted on the walls while they wait, most of which are usually set to sporting events in keeping with the masculine feel of the space.

One Yelp reviewer proclaimed that, “I’ve been coming to see Isaac here for 5 years and have always left feeling confident and clean. He and his staff do an excellent job with cuts and shaves of all kind. They’re a classic barber shop, one that’s hard to find these days. They’re worth the money and more!”

Hairflix Barbershop

Two locations in metro Phoenix

One of Tempe’s top-rated barbershops, boasting a second location in Scottsdale, Hairflix offers shaves and haircuts in addition to mustache and beard trims. Women are also welcome, as the shop provides facials, waxing, and threading. Elisa praised the shop on Google for making her feel welcome.

“Great barbershop! I’m usually the only girl in the barbershop so I’m used to stares but I felt super comfortable here. My barber Moe was quick and efficient and did a fantastic job given that this was my first time getting a cut by him. Please stop by and check it out if you’re in the area! It was super easy to make an appointment online too.”

His blending skills are exceptional, resulting in the best fade I’ve had in quite some time.”

No, that’s not a typo—this shop is billed as a saloon, not a salon. But this is no bar. Shop owner China has more than 26 years of experience cutting hair and offers services to men, women, and children. The shop offers haircuts, layered cuts, tapers, fades, razor cuts, braiding, styling, locs, hair coloring, and extensions, according to its Facebook page, which features examples of the shop’s work. This includes dying their client’s hair in vibrant colors like blue. In another video, you can see a stylist braiding a woman’s hair as she holds a child in her lap.

One local guide on Google reviews wrote, “Hitting up this Barber Shop was like stepping into the cool past. It’s all about real skills, chill vibes, and solid chats. The crew welcomed me like an old friend and hooked me up with a fresh, sharp cut. While I was getting trimmed, the place was buzzing with laughs and stories, feeling more like a hangout than a quick cut.”
