
@coppercourier Five former @azedschools employees have been indicted by @azagmayes for conspiring to commit fraud in Arizona’s universal voucher program. The indictment claims they: – Created fake birth certificates for five nonexistent students and approved them for ESA vouchers – Forged medical notes for the “ghost children” and other voucher recipients at their address so they would qualify for more money -Received over $600,000 in ESA funds The investigation began when a credit union reported unusually large transactions to the attorney general’s office.
