The boba scene has exploded in Tucson, so if you’re trying to find the best boba, it might be a struggle. Where do you even start? Well, Copper Courier has done the heavy lifting for you by having our readers tell us where to go. We asked our readers to vote for the Best Boba in Tucson and over 500 of you shared your thoughts. We have two winners for Best Boba in Tucson, and we’re here to tell you why.
2. Ni Hao Tea
Our second place winner is Ni Hao Tea. The shop’s owner, Kim, grew up drinking boba, and after seeing the need for boba in Tucson, she opened up a shop of her own in February 2020. By 2022, Kim opened her second location.
Ni Hao Tea values quality and exceptional service, which clearly swayed the voters when they were making their decision about the best boba in town. Some favorite drinks are the Brown Sugar Milk Tea and the Cream Cheese Tea. The latter has a rich, salty-sweet layer of cream cheese foam.
There is no shortage of options at Ni Hao Tea though. If you want a fruity tea, there are plenty of options available. If you want to get super crazy, try a creamy slush. The drinks are a perfect balance of sweetness and milkiness.
1. Boba Cucue
The largest boba tea house in Arizona is also the best boba shop in Tucson. Boba Cucue loves creating a fun, immersive, and magical atmosphere. When stepping into Boba Cucue, you’re immediately greeted by pastel colors in a sleek, modern space.
Boba Cucue prides itself on being the cutest bubble tea house in town—and it’s succeeded, of course. But with 18 locations in Arizona, it’s easy to see how it’s also rated the best in Tucson. By using a fancy cold-brewing tea formula, all of their drinks are bold and smooth. If you want options beyond boba, you got them: crystal boba, pudding, and jelly are all available toppings.
With its cute aesthetic and delicious drinks, Boba Cucue is the clear winner of Best Boba in Tucson.
